Chicago Tribune Releases Top Workplaces 2016
Chicago Tribune recognized 136 Companies and Organizations in Chicago as Top Workplaces 2016 including Horizon Pharma and Takeda. These companies have been recognized as Top Workplaces based solely on surveys about the workplace completed by their employees.
Top Workplaces was launched in 2006 by Workplace Dynamics. Working with 45 leading publishers, they annually release a list of top workplaces by region. The employee survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
Top Workplaces are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations.
“It is a great honor to be recognized by the Chicago Tribune as a top workplace for the second year in a row,” said Timothy P. Walbert, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Horizon Pharma plc. “At Horizon, our culture is the backbone of our company. This award is special because it is based on responses from the people who live and breathe our culture everyday – our employees. The connections we have to each other and the work we do on behalf of patients is at the very core of what makes Horizon a truly unique place to work.”
